The best Triple Whale alternatives in 2026
#1Northbeam

Northbeam is what brands graduate to when the argument stops being "what does the dashboard say" and becomes "what should the next $500,000 do". Its modelling, and the incrementality and MMM layers above it, are built for that budget conversation in a way a general operator dashboard is not.
The price enforces the seriousness. At $1,500 a month to start, Northbeam costs more than most stores' entire analytics stack, and it earns that only when ad spend is large enough for a few points of attribution accuracy to be worth six figures. Below roughly $1 million in annual ad spend, its rigour is decoration.
What we like- The attribution specialist: multi touch modelling built for brands spending across four or more channels, media mix modelling and incrementality testing on Professional and Enterprise tiers, hourly data options for high frequency media buying, Starter at $1,500 a month for brands spending under $1.5 million a year on ads
Watch out for- Seven times Triple Whale's Foundation price at entry, and Professional at $3,500 a month runs on annual terms, a steep learning curve, with modelled data that still requires interpretation, its incrementality product launched narrowly in April 2026, Meta only and US only at launch
#2
Polar Analytics
Best for: Custom reporting across stores

Starting price$720 per month

Polar is the alternative for brands whose Triple Whale complaint is the spreadsheet that still exists beside it. Multi store, multi market operators rebuild margin views, custom metrics and board reporting in Polar once, and stop maintaining the manual layer. Its first click default for pixel metrics is at least a declared position in the attribution argument.
Budget for the demo gate. Bands are published up to five figures monthly at the largest GMV levels, so the quote conversation matters, and Polar's honest pitch, reporting depth, should be tested against your ugliest custom metric, the one with the returns adjustment and the wholesale exclusion, before signing.
What we like- A reporting platform rather than a fixed dashboard: custom metrics and blended views across stores, markets and channels, published GMV pricing bands, reported from $720 a month upward, an attribution module included rather than sold as the whole product, warehouse native data handling that finance teams can reconcile
Watch out for- Entry at a reported $720 a month is above Triple Whale's Foundation and near its Automate tier, pricing is demo gated in practice despite published bands, no media mix modelling product, with causal lift tests sold as a service per test, Shopify centred, like most of this category

Lifetimely answers the question Triple Whale's own documentation raises: if attributed revenue is not for financial reporting, what is. Its P&L works from actuals, orders, costs, ad spend, and its cohort and LTV views tell you what a customer is worth after the dashboard glow fades. At $79 a month for a growing store, it is the cheapest serious truth on this page.
Hold the disclosure in view. Triple Whale owns Lifetimely, so a brand leaving over the parent company's contracts gains a separate product, separately billed on monthly terms, but not a new vendor relationship. For many stores the product fit outweighs the corporate chart; decide that with your eyes open.
What we like- Daily profit and loss with real costs, cohorts and predictive lifetime value, the numbers operators actually steer by, free up to 50 orders a month, then $79 to 500 orders, $149 to 3,000 and $299 to 7,000, monthly terms, no GMV contract, a long record as the DTC LTV specialist
Watch out for- Attribution is first and last touch only, so it complements rather than replaces an attribution tool, disclosure: Lifetimely was acquired by Triple Whale in 2022 and still operates as its own product line, so this is a sibling product, not an independent vendor, Amazon support is a paid addition

TrueProfit is the antidote to dashboard sprawl. Many stores paying Triple Whale's Foundation tier look at exactly one number each morning, and it is profit, which TrueProfit calculates at $35 a month with the costs most tools make optional. If that sentence describes your usage, the saving is $184 a month forever.
Its ceiling is its focus. There is no media modelling to argue about and no cohort science to grow into, so it suits the store whose marketing is one or two channels and whose questions are margin shaped. Growth past that point is a happy problem with its own budget.
What we like- Net profit calculated properly, with product costs, shipping, fees, taxes and ad spend in one number, entry around $35 a month, the cheapest paid tool here, simple enough for a founder to run without an analyst, built for Shopify stores that need the truth daily, not a data platform
Watch out for- Profit is the whole product: attribution and cohort depth live elsewhere, small stores only: larger operations outgrow its simplicity, a younger name beside Lifetimely and Polar

ThoughtMetric sells the same core promise as Triple Whale, cross channel attribution a store can act on, without the annual GMV contract. Pageview pricing from $99 a month and month to month terms make it the lowest risk way to test whether third party attribution changes any decision you actually make.
That test is the right frame. If a season of ThoughtMetric numbers never once moved budget between channels, attribution itself was the unnecessary purchase, and you have learned it for hundreds rather than thousands. If it did move budget profitably, Northbeam's modelling tier is waiting with the evidence to justify it.
What we like- Multi touch attribution by channel and campaign at published prices, from $99 a month for 50,000 pageviews, monthly billing available, so no 12 month lock in of the Triple Whale kind, post purchase surveys catch the buyers pixels miss, new versus returning splits and product level attribution included
Watch out for- Priced by pageviews, so a traffic spike month costs more whether or not it converted, less modelling depth than Northbeam: this is pixel attribution done well, a smaller vendor, with a thinner public review base

Elevar belongs here because some Triple Whale usage is really about the pixel. Brands lean on third party tracking partly to feed ad platforms better signals, and a dedicated server side layer does that job more completely than a dashboard's side feature. Garbage collection upstream beats clever modelling downstream.
Buy it as plumbing, judged on match rates and event completeness rather than charts. Paired with Lifetimely or TrueProfit for truth and the ad platforms' own reporting for delivery, Elevar completes a stack that costs less than Triple Whale's Automate tier and argues with itself far less.
What we like- Not an attribution platform: a server side tracking layer that feeds complete conversion data to Meta, Google and the other ad platforms, Essentials at $200 a month for 1,000 orders, Growth $450 for 10,000, better platform data improves the in platform attribution many brands actually optimise against, fixes the browser loss that makes every downstream dashboard disagree
Watch out for- It produces no dashboard or decisions by itself, so it complements an analytics tool rather than replacing one, order based pricing climbs with success, another vendor in the stack to manage

DataDrew is the challenger built on this article's exact grievances: contracts and distance from daily decisions. It analyses ads against profit rather than platform reported revenue, publishes its price at $149 a month, and lets you leave any month the value stops. For a store whose Triple Whale usage was really ads steering, it is the closest one for one replacement.
Its youth is the caveat. Attribution and analytics are trust products, and DataDrew has had fewer seasons to earn it than Northbeam or Polar. The monthly term is the mitigation: the vendor re-earns the subscription twelve times a year, which is precisely the discipline the annual contract removes.
What we like- Profit first analysis of ad performance, aimed at the daily decisions media buyers make, published pricing by GMV band at $149 a month to start, billed monthly, a direct answer to the 12 month contract complaint, positions itself as a working co-pilot rather than a reporting archive
Watch out for- A newer, smaller product than the category leaders, with a shorter public track record, narrower than Polar or Triple Whale as a whole business dashboard, monthly billing costs flexibility's usual premium over annual terms elsewhere
How we chose
We chose alternatives by the documented reasons brands leave Triple Whale: 12 month GMV based contracts, pricing that scales with revenue, and an attribution model its own documentation excludes from financial reporting. Triple Whale itself is never an entry, by the rules of an alternatives list; its subsidiary Lifetimely is included as a separately sold product with the ownership disclosed in its entry. Prices come from vendor pages and comparisons verified in July and October 2026. We did not claim hands-on testing.
All attribution is modelling, including the honest kind
Point Triple Whale, Northbeam and Polar at the same store and they will report three different Meta ROAS figures before any modelling cleverness begins, because their defaults differ: a 28 day window, a proprietary clicks only model, first click. The academic evidence is ruder still: controlled experiments routinely find observational attribution overestimating true lift several times over. These tools rank channels usefully; they do not count sales, and your bank account already does that job.
So buy attribution for decisions, not truth. The valuable question is narrow: if I move 20 percent of spend from channel A to channel B, what happens. Tools that help you test that, with holdouts, geo experiments or at least consistent models you can watch over time, earn their subscriptions. Dashboards that merely restate platform claims with prettier charts do not.
And keep one source of financial truth outside the argument. A profit tool working from actual orders and costs, Lifetimely or TrueProfit here, disciplines every attribution claim made above it. When the model says a channel returns four to one and the P&L says the store lost money in its best month, believe the P&L and interrogate the model.
Frequently asked questions
Why do brands leave Triple Whale?
The 12 month contract tied to GMV is the commonest reason, followed by prices rising with revenue and attribution figures that cannot be used for financial reporting, a limit Triple Whale's own documentation states.
What is the closest alternative to Triple Whale?
Polar Analytics for the all in one operator dashboard with deeper custom reporting, and Northbeam if attribution quality is the priority. Both cost more than Triple Whale's Foundation tier, which is itself information about the category.
What is the cheapest serious alternative?
Lifetimely, free up to 50 orders and $79 a month to 500 orders, for profit and LTV truth, and TrueProfit at about $35 a month for net profit alone. ThoughtMetric at $99 a month is the cheapest full attribution tool here.
Is Lifetimely really independent from Triple Whale?
No. Triple Whale acquired Lifetimely in 2022, and it still operates as its own product line with separate monthly billing. We include it because stores buy it separately and it answers the profit question directly, but the ownership is stated so the choice is informed.
Which tool should a brand spending $2 million a year on ads pick?
Northbeam. At that spend, small attribution improvements are worth more than its $1,500 a month entry, and its modelling and incrementality tiers address budget decisions directly. Below that spend, its price outruns its value.
