How we make this list: we compare pricing pages, product documentation and public user reviews. Rankite is independent; if a vendor ever pays for a featured spot, that listing is clearly labeled Partner.
Every sales team knows the deal that died in quoting. The rep waited on pricing approval, finance questioned the discount, legal redlined the terms, and by the time the quote went out, the buyer had chosen a competitor who answered in a day. Slow, error-prone quoting is a silent revenue killer.
CPQ software, configure price quote, fixes the process: guided selling, automated pricing rules, approval workflows, and professional quotes generated in minutes. The ten platforms below are judged on whether sales teams actually adopt them, because CPQ that reps bypass is just expensive software.

We selected CPQ platforms with active development and real adoption in 2026, spanning CRM-native, independent, and manufacturing-specialist vendors. One exclusion shaped the list: PROS now focuses on airline retailing rather than B2B CPQ, so it is not included.
All vendors sell through demos and quotes, so "See website" reflects actual sales practices. We did not claim hands-on testing. Capability descriptions reflect vendor documentation and current product positioning.
Start with product complexity. Simple catalogs with standard pricing need PandaDoc or DealHub speed. Complex configurations with engineering constraints need Tacton, Oracle, or Experlogix depth. Buying more configuration engine than your products need wastes implementation budget.
Next, follow your CRM. Salesforce shops get the most from Salesforce CPQ or Conga; Microsoft shops from Experlogix; SAP shops from SAP CPQ. The integration value of native CPQ usually outweighs feature differences.
Then protect the buyer experience. Modern buyers expect interactive quotes, not PDFs attached to emails. DealHub's deal rooms and PandaDoc's polished proposals reflect where expectations are heading; factor buyer impression into the decision.
Finally, plan for the pricing rules project. CPQ implementations succeed or fail on the quality of pricing logic migrated into the system. Audit your discounting practices before implementation; the software will expose every inconsistency, which is the point but also the work.
