Best Outbound Call Tracking Software in 2026: 8 Tools Compared

Key takeaways

  • Kixie and PhoneBurner are dialer-first: Kixie bundles unlimited US and Canada minutes with a 4-line power dialer, while PhoneBurner fights spam flags with its ARMOR system.
  • JustCall and CloudTalk balance calling with AI insight: JustCall starts at $29 a user a month with transcription and parallel dialers, while CloudTalk covers 160+ countries from 19 euros a user a month.
  • Aircall and CallHippo suit teams that want one platform for sales and support, with Aircall's power dialer arriving on the $50 plan and CallHippo stacking AI voice agents on top.
  • Close and CallTrackingMetrics cover the tracking side: Close logs every call inside its CRM from $9 a user a month, while CTM attributes outbound and inbound calls to the campaigns that drove them.
  • Trial before you commit: most of these tools offer 7 to 14-day trials, and dialing quality varies enough by region that only your own test calls tell the truth.

The best outbound call tracking software

#1

Kixie

Best for: High-volume SDR teams on unlimited US and Canada dialing
Visit kixie.com
Starting price$30/user/month (unlimited US/CA minutes plan)
Free planFree trial (7 days)
Kixie homepage

Kixie is built for SDR teams that live on the phone. The headline deal is unlimited minutes for US and Canada calls at $30 a user a month, which removes the meter anxiety that makes reps hesitate to dial. Plans scale from a single-line power dialer to a multi-line version that dials four lines simultaneously with calling session management.

Every plan includes the core business phone service, bi-directional CRM integration, click-to-call, voicemail drop and live call coaching. The bi-directional part matters: call outcomes, notes and recordings land back in the CRM without manual logging, which is where outbound tracking either works or falls apart.

The pricing page is cagey about plan prices beyond the $30 unlimited minutes mention, so expect a sales conversation for exact numbers. If your team dials hundreds of US numbers a day and wants unlimited minutes bundled in, Kixie deserves the shortlist.

What we like
  • Unlimited US and Canada minutes on power dialer plans
  • Dials up to 4 lines at once
  • Bi-directional CRM integration and live call coaching
Watch out for
  • Plan prices are not published on the site
  • AI human voice detection is a premium add-on
#2

JustCall

Best for: Calling plus SMS workflows with AI notes
Visit justcall.io
Starting price$29/user/month (Team, annual)
Free planFree trial (14 days)
JustCall homepage

JustCall combines a sales dialer, SMS platform and AI call intelligence in one subscription. The Team plan at $29 a user a month (billed annually) includes power and dynamic dialers plus a 10-line parallel dialer, so reps can work a list fast. AI transcription, call scoring and sentiment analysis arrive on higher plans, with 14 days of JustCall AI included on trial.

Campaign dashboards show connect rates, talk time and outcomes by rep or list, which is the outbound tracking core: you see what is working and scale it. Native integrations with 80-plus CRMs and helpdesks, plus an API, keep call data flowing into your system of record.

Watch the fine print: every plan requires a minimum of two licenses, and the bundled outbound calling covers the US, Canada, UK and Australia, with other countries billed separately. SMS bundles also exclude bulk campaigns and workflow messages.

What we like
  • Power, dynamic and 10-line parallel dialers
  • AI transcription and call scoring
  • 70+ native integrations
Watch out for
  • Minimum 2 licenses
  • Outbound bundles only cover select regions
#3

CloudTalk

Best for: International sales teams needing local numbers
Visit cloudtalk.io
Starting price19 euros/user/month (annual)
Free planFree trial (14 days)
CloudTalk homepage

CloudTalk is the pick for teams that sell across borders. Local numbers in more than 160 countries, unlimited US and Canada calling, and bundled outbound minutes for dozens of other markets mean reps dial from a local presence everywhere. Plans run from 19 to 49 euros a user a month on annual billing, and every plan includes a calling package.

The dialer lineup covers preview, power, smart and parallel (up to 10 lines) modes, though the heavier dialers are add-ons on lower tiers. AI conversation intelligence adds transcripts, summaries, sentiment and call scoring, and newer AI voice agents can run outbound campaigns on their own when the team is offline.

If most of your dialing is domestic, you are paying for global coverage you may not use. If you sell into Europe, Latin America or Australia, the bundled international minutes make CloudTalk cheaper than metered alternatives.

What we like
  • Local numbers in 160+ countries with bundled minutes
  • Power, smart and parallel dialers
  • AI call scoring and voice agents
Watch out for
  • Advanced dialers are add-ons on lower plans
  • Pricing is euro-denominated
#4

Aircall

Best for: Teams wanting one platform for sales and support
Visit aircall.io
Starting price$30/license/month (annual)
Free planNo
Aircall homepage

Aircall positions itself as the customer communications platform rather than a pure dialer: voice, SMS, WhatsApp and AI voice agents in one workspace, with native integrations to Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive and Zendesk. For outbound tracking, every call lands on the contact record with recordings, transcripts and notes synced automatically.

The Essentials plan at $30 a license a month covers unlimited US and Canada calls with basic analytics. The Professional plan at $50 adds the features outbound teams actually need: the power dialer (up to 1,000 numbers dialed in sequence), outbound call campaigns with automated retries, AI call summaries and conversation intelligence, plus live monitoring and coaching.

Aircall is a strong fit when sales and support share one phone system. Pure outbound teams may find better dialer value in Kixie or PhoneBurner at similar spend.

What we like
  • 250+ integrations with native CRM sync
  • Call recording and AI transcripts included
  • Power dialer and outbound campaigns on the Professional plan
Watch out for
  • The power dialer costs $50 a license a month
  • 3-license minimum on annual billing
#5

CallHippo

Best for: Budget-conscious teams with AI voice agents
Visit callhippo.com
Starting priceSee website
Free planFree trial (10 days)
CallHippo homepage

CallHippo has rebuilt itself around AI: an AI Copilot coaches agents with sentiment and talk-to-listen analysis, AI voice agents qualify leads and book meetings around the clock, and post-call automation generates summaries, syncs Salesforce or HubSpot and triggers follow-ups. The promise is 15 to 20 minutes saved per agent per day.

The platform covers the outbound basics: power dialer features, click-to-dial, call dispositions, voicemail drop and detailed call analytics. The omnichannel inbox pulls voice, WhatsApp, SMS, Telegram and email into one dashboard, which suits teams that prospect across channels.

The pricing page is a maze of plan names (Basic, Starter, Professional, Ultimate, Enterprise) without clearly listed prices at the time of checking, so treat the starting price as a sales conversation. Verify the dialer behavior on the 10-day trial before committing.

What we like
  • AI voice agents handle calls 24/7 in 35+ languages
  • Post-call automation syncs summaries to CRM
  • Omnichannel inbox for voice, WhatsApp and SMS
Watch out for
  • Pricing page is hard to read and prices are not clearly listed
  • Dialer depth is lighter than dedicated tools
#6

PhoneBurner

Best for: Teams fighting spam flags and low answer rates
Visit phoneburner.com
Starting priceSee website
Free planFree trial
PhoneBurner homepage

PhoneBurner attacks the biggest outbound problem of 2026: calls that never get answered because the number shows as spam. Its ARMOR system monitors answer rates, protects numbers from spam flags and offers full remediation, while calls run on a Tier 1 carrier network prioritized by carriers. Connect scores use real carrier signals to skip numbers unlikely to pick up.

Beyond deliverability, it is a complete dialer: power dialing with no awkward pause, blended calls, email and SMS, workflow automation that reduces post-call work to one click, and lead management with automatic distribution. Reporting gives leaders visibility into team performance, call engagement and lead value.

PhoneBurner does not publish pricing, and its positioning is premium, so budget accordingly. For teams in mortgage, insurance or solar where answer rates directly drive revenue, the spam protection can pay for itself.

What we like
  • ARMOR spam-flag monitoring and remediation
  • Tier 1 carrier network for connection reliability
  • Built-in CRM with lead management
Watch out for
  • No public pricing
  • Premium positioning means higher cost per seat
#7

CallTrackingMetrics

Best for: Attributing calls to marketing campaigns
Visit calltrackingmetrics.com
Starting priceSee website
Free planNo
CallTrackingMetrics homepage

CallTrackingMetrics, now branded CTM, comes at outbound from the attribution angle. Dynamic number insertion connects every call, text and form-fill to the exact ad or campaign that drove it, and AskAI layers conversation intelligence over recordings and transcripts. One agency case study on its site cites a client running about 170,000 outbound calls a year with an 85% attributed conversion rate.

The platform also offers a softphone, lead routing, real-time coaching and omnichannel tools for outbound teams, so it can serve as the calling tool too. But its strength is measurement: proving which campaigns produce revenue, not just calls.

CTM fits marketing-led sales orgs where the question is "which ads drove pipeline" rather than "how many dials did we make." It publishes no pricing page at the moment, so the number comes from a sales quote.

What we like
  • Ties every call to the campaign and keyword that drove it
  • AskAI conversation intelligence
  • Agency-friendly white label and sub-accounts
Watch out for
  • Inbound-first heritage, outbound dialing is secondary
  • No public pricing page
#8

Close

Best for: CRM-based outbound with built-in calling
Visit close.com
Starting price$9/user/month (Solo, annual)
Free planFree trial (14 days)
Close homepage

Close eliminates the tracking problem by making the dialer part of the CRM. Every call, email and text is logged to the lead record automatically, with AI summaries, transcripts and action items. There is no sync to break because there is nothing to sync.

Pricing starts at $9 a user a month on the Solo plan (annual), with Essentials at $35 adding team features. The dialer tiers matter for outbound: Growth at $99 a user a month adds the power dialer and workflows, while Scale at $139 adds the predictive dialer, unlimited recording retention and live coaching. Calling and SMS pass through at cost, roughly $0.02 a minute for outbound calls.

Close is the simplest answer for teams that want outbound tracking without integration work. The catch is commitment: you are buying its CRM, not just a dialer, so it only works if you are willing to run sales on Close.

What we like
  • Calling, email and SMS built into the CRM with automatic logging
  • Power dialer on Growth, predictive dialer on Scale
  • Chloe AI agent can call leads
Watch out for
  • Solo plan limited to one user
  • Calling and SMS billed separately at cost

How we chose

We focused on tools that combine outbound dialing with real tracking and analytics, since either one alone does not answer "which calls made money." Every product above exists today and serves sales teams. We opened each vendor's homepage to confirm the current name and URL, then pulled starting prices from each vendor's own pricing page on October 14, 2026. Where a vendor published no prices (PhoneBurner, CallHippo, CallTrackingMetrics), we say so instead of guessing. We checked public reviews on G2 and Capterra, each vendor's documentation for dialer modes, CRM integrations and analytics depth, and how each product fits teams from solo reps to large outbound orgs.

What to check before you buy outbound call tracking software

Test call quality from the places you actually dial. A dialer that sounds great in a demo can fall apart on calls to rural carriers or international mobiles. Run the free trial with real lists, real reps and real follow-ups, and measure connect rates and audio quality for at least a week before you sign.

Read the minute math carefully. Unlimited plans (Kixie, CloudTalk, Aircall) usually cover the US and Canada only, with fair use policies and surcharges for premium or international numbers. Metered plans (Close, JustCall's add-ons) can be cheaper for low-volume teams but brutal for high-volume ones. Model your actual dials per rep per day against each plan's inclusions.

Confirm the CRM logging is truly automatic. Ask whether dispositions, recordings, transcripts and outcomes write back to contact records without rep effort, and whether custom fields map correctly. The whole point of call tracking is data you can trust, and manual logging defeats it within a month.

Finally, check compliance features for your market: DNC list scrubbing, consent capture, call recording disclosure and state or country-specific dialing rules. Violations cost $500 to $1,500 per call in the US, which dwarfs any software subscription.

Dialer depth versus tracking depth

These tools split into two camps. Dialer-first tools (Kixie, PhoneBurner, CloudTalk, Aircall, CallHippo, JustCall) optimize for conversations per hour: parallel dialers, spam protection, local presence. Tracking-first tools (Close, CallTrackingMetrics) optimize for knowing what worked: automatic CRM logging, campaign attribution, conversation intelligence.

Most growing teams need both, and the bundles are converging: dialers are adding AI summaries and attribution, while CRMs are adding dialers. If you must choose one starting point, pick the dialer when reps make 100+ calls a day and the tracking platform when the business question is which campaigns and messages convert. Either way, demand the trial and measure connect rate, not feature lists.

Frequently asked questions

What is outbound call tracking software?

Software that dials prospects and records what happens: connect rates, call outcomes, recordings, transcripts and revenue attribution. The best tools combine a sales dialer (power, parallel or predictive) with automatic CRM logging and analytics, so managers see which reps, lists and campaigns produce pipeline.

How much does outbound call tracking software cost?

Expect $9 to $139 a user a month depending on the tool and tier. Entry points verified from vendor pricing pages: Close from $9, CloudTalk from 19 euros, JustCall from $29, Aircall from $30, Kixie from $30 for unlimited US and Canada minutes. Premium dialers (PhoneBurner) and attribution platforms (CallTrackingMetrics) are quote-based. Calling minutes are often bundled for the US and Canada and metered elsewhere.

What is the difference between a power dialer and a predictive dialer?

A power dialer calls one number at a time (or a few lines) per rep, waiting for the rep to finish before dialing the next. A predictive dialer uses algorithms to dial multiple numbers per available rep, predicting when reps will free up. Predictive dialers maximize talk time but can create abandoned calls, which regulators restrict. Power dialers are the safer default for most teams.

Do I need a separate CRM if I use a sales dialer?

Usually yes, unless you use Close. Dialers like Kixie, Aircall and JustCall integrate with Salesforce, HubSpot and Pipedrive and log calls automatically, but the CRM remains your system of record. Close is the exception: it is a CRM with a dialer built in, so there is nothing to integrate.

How do I improve my team's call answer rates?

Use local presence numbers, keep your caller IDs clean with spam monitoring (PhoneBurner's ARMOR is built for this), rotate numbers, and call at the right times for each timezone. Connect scoring and smart redial rules help too. Expect 5 to 15% connect rates as normal in B2B; anything consistently below that signals a list or number reputation problem.

Is outbound dialing software legal?

Yes, with rules. In the US, the TCPA and state laws require consent for automated dialing to mobile numbers, DNC list scrubbing and call recording disclosures in two-party consent states. Penalties run $500 to $1,500 per violation. Choose software with DNC management, consent capture and audit logs, and get legal advice for your specific market.
