Best Investor Relations Software in 2026: 9 Tools Compared

Key takeaways

  • For public companies, the main IR CRM and intelligence platforms are Q4, Nasdaq IR Insight and Irwin (now owned by FactSet). Q4 says it serves 50 percent of the S&P 500.
  • Notified (part of Equiniti since May 2025) and ACCESS Newswire bundle IR websites and earnings webcasts with press release distribution, which suits smaller listed companies that want one vendor.
  • InvestorHub focuses on retail shareholder engagement and is used by more than 300 companies listed on the ASX and LSE.
  • For private markets, Juniper Square reports more than 2,300 GPs and 750,000 LPs on its platform, and InvestorFlow is built on Salesforce for fundraising teams.
  • Visible is the only tool here with a free plan and fully public pricing, aimed at startups sending investor updates.

The best investor relations software

#1

Q4

Best for: Large-cap public companies wanting one IR platform
Visit q4inc.com
Starting priceSee website
Free planNo
Q4 homepage

Q4 is the closest thing to a full-stack IR platform for public companies. Its products cover IR websites, earnings call and investor event hosting, an investor CRM, consensus management for analyst estimates, shareholder ID and stock surveillance. Q4 says it is trusted by 50 percent of the S&P 500.

The advantage of buying everything from Q4 is that data connects. Website visits, event attendance and CRM meeting notes can feed the same investor profile, which helps an IR officer decide whom to call before a roadshow. Q4 also promotes AI features for capital markets work and says client data is partitioned and never used to train external models.

Pricing is by demo and quote, and third-party roundups describe it as priced for larger enterprises. A small-cap company that only needs a compliant IR website and a quarterly webcast may find a lighter vendor cheaper. Q4 publishes a Forrester-backed ROI study, but treat those figures as vendor-commissioned.

What we like
  • IR websites, earnings events, CRM and shareholder data from one vendor
  • Used by half the S&P 500 (per Q4)
  • Consensus management and surveillance options
Watch out for
  • Enterprise pricing
  • Smaller issuers may pay for modules they rarely use
#2

Nasdaq IR Insight

Best for: IR teams that rely on market and peer data
Visit nasdaq.com
Starting priceSee website
Free planNo

Nasdaq IR Insight launched in 2016 and Nasdaq describes it as the most used platform in the market. It is a hub for running an IR program end to end: investor profiles, targeting, peer monitoring, meeting and engagement tracking, and reporting on the impact of IR activity.

The data depth is the reason teams pick it. IR Insight brings in buy-side and sell-side content from Refinitiv and market data from FactSet, connects to Microsoft Office, and adds near real-time equity surveillance through Nasdaq's IR Intelligence service. A head of IR at Standard Chartered quoted on Nasdaq's site praises its mobile apps for use on the road, and Rai Way's IR team credits its newer AI features for faster peer summaries.

The tradeoff is cost and complexity. Pricing is a tiered subscription quoted by Nasdaq, and the volume of data can feel heavy for a two-person IR team. Ask for a trial period with your own peer group loaded.

What we like
  • Integrates Refinitiv buy-side and sell-side content plus FactSet market data
  • Generative AI summaries for peer monitoring
  • Strong mobile apps
Watch out for
  • Tiered subscription pricing by quote only
  • Dense interface takes time to learn
#3

Irwin

Best for: IR CRM paired with FactSet data
Visit getirwin.com
Starting priceSee website
Free planNo
Irwin homepage

Irwin is a Toronto company founded in 2017 that FactSet agreed to acquire in October 2024. It is built as a modern IR CRM first, with investor targeting, shareholder monitoring across reported, retail and surveillance holders, and activity tracking that syncs with email and calendar.

The day-to-day features are where Irwin earns its reputation with IR teams. Roadshow itineraries, investor tear sheets and event management sit inside the CRM, and Irwin Mail sends investor email campaigns. Irwin IQ identifies institutions visiting your IR website regardless of who hosts it, which helps spot new interest before it shows up in filings. Delta Air Lines, JLL and CSX appear as customer stories on its site.

As a FactSet company, Irwin makes the most sense for teams already using FactSet. If your firm is standardized on another data provider, ask how that data flows in. Pricing is by demo request.

What we like
  • Modern CRM with roadshow itineraries, tear sheets and email campaigns
  • Integrated with the FactSet Workstation
  • Website visitor intelligence through Irwin IQ
Watch out for
  • Quote-only pricing
  • Built around IR workflows rather than broad market research
#4

Notified

Best for: Earnings events, IR websites and newswire in one vendor
4.4/5 on G2 (342 reviews, checked Oct 2026)
Visit notified.com
Starting priceSee website
Free planNo

Notified is the company behind GlobeNewswire, and its IR business includes custom IR websites built for accessibility, earnings releases, earnings calls and investor day events, plus market intelligence for earnings preparation. Equiniti (EQ) completed its acquisition of Notified in May 2025, combining it with EQ's shareholder services.

The strength is the disclosure moment. On earnings day, an IR team needs the release on the wire, the website updated and the webcast running without a hitch. Notified handles all three, and testimonials on its site, including from Zoom's head of investor relations, point to fast support for last-minute website updates and disclosures.

Notified is less of a targeting and CRM platform than Q4, Nasdaq or Irwin. Many companies pair it with a separate CRM. Pricing depends on the mix of services and is quoted.

What we like
  • GlobeNewswire distribution, accessible IR websites and earnings webcasts from one provider
  • Strong support for time-sensitive disclosures
  • Now part of Equiniti, a shareholder services company
Watch out for
  • No public pricing
  • Less focused on CRM and targeting than Q4 or Irwin
#5

ACCESS Newswire

Best for: Small and micro-cap companies on a budget
Visit accessnewswire.com
Starting priceSee website
Free planNo
ACCESS Newswire homepage

ACCESS Newswire is the new name for Issuer Direct, a long-time provider to smaller public companies (the old issuerdirect.com address now redirects here). Its ACCESS IR platform combines an IR website, earnings call webcasts, earnings press releases and investor day hosting in one subscription, and it also offers ADA compliance tools and a whistleblower hotline.

For a small or micro-cap issuer with one person covering IR, the appeal is simplicity. One vendor and one login handle the release, the website and the call, and the same account team can manage press release distribution for marketing. Testimonials on its site emphasize responsive support and easy integration.

What you will not get is a full IR CRM or institutional targeting. Companies trying to build institutional ownership usually add a CRM such as Irwin or a data platform. ACCESS publishes PR subscription prices, but IR plans require a conversation with sales.

What we like
  • IR website, earnings webcasts and disclosure tools in one subscription
  • Same login and account team for PR and IR
  • ADA compliance and whistleblower tools available
Watch out for
  • No CRM or shareholder targeting
  • IR plan prices are not published
#6

InvestorHub

Best for: Retail shareholder engagement for ASX and LSE companies
Visit investorhub.com
Starting priceSee website
Free planNo
InvestorHub homepage

InvestorHub takes a different approach from the institution-focused platforms above. It treats IR as marketing to individual shareholders. Companies get a branded investor hub with a live share price, announcements and investor Q&A, plus sign-up forms that build an owned list of interested investors. More than 300 companies listed on the ASX and LSE use it, mostly in the $5 million to $5 billion market cap range.

The feature that stands out is the register link. Each investor gets one record covering holdings, trading and engagement, and an AI analyst called Ivy reads the register to suggest who is buying, who is reachable and who to contact. Campaigns run across email, LinkedIn and webinars. Case studies on its site include Race Oncology's oversubscribed share purchase plan.

US-listed companies should check fit carefully, since the product is built around ASX and LSE announcement workflows. Pricing is by demo.

What we like
  • Branded investor hub with Q&A, sign-ups and announcements
  • Links engagement to the share register
  • AI analyst that suggests whom to contact
Watch out for
  • Focused on ASX and LSE listings
  • Not built for institutional targeting
#7

Juniper Square

Best for: Private equity and real estate fund managers
4.7/5 on G2 (106 reviews, checked Oct 2026)
Visit junipersquare.com
Starting priceSee website
Free planNo
Juniper Square homepage

Juniper Square is the leading choice for private fund managers who want investor relations and fund operations in one place. It covers fundraising with an investor CRM and data rooms, investor onboarding and DDQs, an investor portal and reporting, and fund administration with AML and KYC services. The company reports more than 2,300 GPs, 750,000 LPs, 45,000 investment entities and $1 trillion in investor equity on its platform.

For a real estate or private equity sponsor, the practical win is that LPs log in to one portal to find statements, documents and reports, while the IR team tracks commitments and communications from the same records. Combining the portal with fund administration cuts the reconciliation work between systems.

Pricing is by demo. Emerging managers with one small fund should compare the cost with lighter investor portals, since Juniper Square is built for firms running multiple vehicles.

What we like
  • Investor portal, CRM, data rooms and fund administration in one system
  • Large network of 2,300+ GPs and 750,000+ LPs
  • Covers PE, real estate, venture, private credit and fund of funds
Watch out for
  • Quote-only pricing
  • More than a small first-time fund may need
#8

InvestorFlow

Best for: Private markets fundraising teams on Salesforce
Visit investorflow.com
Starting priceSee website
Free planNo
InvestorFlow homepage

InvestorFlow is a front-office platform for private markets firms in private equity, private credit, real estate and infrastructure. It covers capital formation (identifying LPs, tracking commitments), private wealth distribution, deal management, investor services and a branded investor portal. The company says it is trusted by more than 200 private markets firms.

Its relationship intelligence feature maps who at your firm knows whom, so fundraising teams can find warm paths to prospective LPs. The investor portal gives LPs statements, documents and fund insights with granular permissions and full audit trails.

Because InvestorFlow is built on Salesforce, firms already on Salesforce get a natural fit, while others take on a Salesforce dependency. Pricing is quoted after a demo.

What we like
  • Built on Salesforce, so it fits firms already using it
  • Relationship intelligence for warm introduction paths
  • Branded LP portal with audit trails
Watch out for
  • Pricing by demo only
  • Benefits most firms that are committed to the Salesforce ecosystem
#9

Visible

Best for: Startups sending investor updates
Visit visible.vc
Starting price$0 (Starter); Base $59/month billed annually
Free planYes (up to 100 investor recipients)
Visible homepage

Visible serves founders who need to keep their investors informed. Its core feature is the investor update: a recurring email with metrics, wins and asks, sent to angels and VCs with open tracking. It also includes data rooms for fundraising, pitch deck sharing with analytics, and a fundraising CRM called Pipelines.

Pricing is public. Starter is free forever with up to 100 investor recipients and one data room limited to 25 files. Base is $59 per month on annual billing ($69 monthly) for 250 recipients, Core is $129 ($149 monthly) for 500, and Growth is $199 ($249 monthly) for 1,000, with more data rooms and advanced permissions as you go up.

Visible is not a substitute for public-company IR tools or fund investor portals. For a seed or Series A company that wants to stop pasting metrics into a Google Doc every month, though, it is the simplest option here.

What we like
  • Free plan with unlimited updates to 100 recipients
  • Data rooms and fundraising CRM included
  • Transparent pricing with a 30-day refund window
Watch out for
  • Built for private startups, not listed companies or funds
  • Recipient caps rise only with higher plans

Matching IR software to the kind of company you run

Public companies: start with the disclosure workflow

Every listed company needs a compliant IR website, a reliable way to distribute earnings releases and a webcast platform for calls. Notified and ACCESS Newswire cover that core well. Larger companies then add an IR CRM and shareholder intelligence from Q4, Nasdaq IR Insight or Irwin, or buy the whole stack from Q4.

Decide how much targeting you need

Institutional targeting and surveillance are the expensive part of IR software. If your shareholder base is mostly retail, a retail engagement tool such as InvestorHub may deliver more value than a large institutional database. If you are trying to bring in new funds before a capital raise, targeting data matters more.

Private funds: portal plus CRM plus administration

Fund managers should look at how the investor portal, the fundraising CRM and fund administration connect. Juniper Square combines all three, while InvestorFlow focuses on the front office and integrates with other systems through Salesforce.

Check data ownership and exports

IR records are long-lived. Ask how you export investor profiles, meeting history and email engagement if you switch vendors, and whether historical website analytics come with you.

Ask about accessibility and security

IR websites must meet accessibility expectations, and investor portals hold sensitive financial data. Ask vendors for accessibility compliance details, SOC 2 or similar reports, single sign-on and permission controls.

How we chose

We identified products listed under investor relations on G2, Capterra and Gartner Peer Insights, then checked each vendor's official site for what it sells today. Several well-known names have changed owners or brands recently (Irwin to FactSet, Notified to Equiniti, Issuer Direct to ACCESS Newswire), so we confirmed current ownership and products directly. We excluded vendors whose sites we could not verify.

We compared tools by audience (public company, private fund, startup), core features, data sources, integrations and pricing transparency, and read public reviews and IR practitioner discussions for recurring strengths and complaints. We did not run IR programs on these platforms ourselves, and vendor statistics are reported as vendor claims.

Frequently asked questions

What does investor relations software do?

It helps a company manage communication with its investors. For public companies that means IR websites, earnings releases and webcasts, an investor CRM, shareholder identification and targeting. For private funds it means investor portals, fundraising CRM and reporting, and for startups it means investor updates and data rooms.

How much does investor relations software cost?

Most enterprise IR platforms, including Q4, Nasdaq IR Insight, Irwin, Notified and Juniper Square, do not publish prices and quote based on modules and company size. Visible is the exception, with a free plan and paid plans from $59 per month on annual billing. Expect a sales process for anything aimed at listed companies or funds.

What is the best IR software for a small-cap company?

Small-cap companies usually get the most value from a bundled disclosure platform that covers the IR website, earnings releases and webcasts. ACCESS Newswire and Notified both offer this. Add a CRM later when you start actively targeting institutional investors.

Can I use a general CRM like Salesforce for investor relations?

Yes, some teams do, and InvestorFlow is built on Salesforce for private markets firms. The catch is that a general CRM lacks shareholder data, surveillance and IR-specific workflows such as roadshow planning. Purpose-built IR CRMs include those out of the box.

What is an investor portal?

An investor portal is a secure website where investors log in to see statements, tax documents, reports and fund updates. Private equity, real estate and venture funds use portals such as Juniper Square and InvestorFlow to replace emailed PDFs. Good portals include permissions, audit trails and document notifications.
