SoftwareApplication schema is Schema.org structured data that describes an app or web tool: its name, category, supported operating systems, price and, when genuine reviews exist, an aggregate rating. Search engines use it to understand what the software does and, in some search verticals, to show extra details like price or star ratings alongside the listing.
Fill in the fields and the tool assembles a valid SoftwareApplication JSON-LD block, including an Offer for pricing and an optional AggregateRating. The rating block is only added when you provide both a rating value between 1 and 5 and a rating count of at least 1, since Schema.org requires both properties together and a rating without a count is not valid.
Google's structured data guidelines require that review and rating markup reflect genuine feedback that is visible on the same page, not a number invented to make a listing look more popular. Fabricated or self-selected ratings that do not match what a user sees on the page are considered a policy violation and can lead to the rich result being suppressed for the whole site. If you do not have real, on-page reviews yet, leave the rating fields blank.
Place the generated script tag in the <head> of the page that describes the app, typically a product landing page, a download page, or a tool's own page like this one. Keep the price, operating system and category in the markup consistent with what is actually shown on the page.
