Getting attendance mode and location right

A fully online event, like a webinar, needs a VirtualLocation with the join URL instead of a physical address. A hybrid event needs both: a Place for anyone attending in person and a VirtualLocation for anyone joining remotely, which this generator builds automatically as an array once you pick the hybrid option.

Keeping status and ticket data current

eventStatus exists specifically so search engines can warn people before they show up to something that has changed. If an event gets cancelled, postponed or rescheduled, update this field and republish the page rather than leaving the original schema in place, since stale event markup can mislead searchers and hurt trust in your listings. The offers block is optional but worth including whenever there is a real price or registration link, since it is what makes an event eligible for the ticket-focused presentation in Google's rich results rather than just a plain date and location card.
