StockX charges two separate fees on every sale. The transaction fee is tiered by seller level: 9% at Level 1, stepping down to 8.5%, 8%, 7.5%, and as low as 7% at Level 5 for the platform's most consistent, reliable sellers. On top of that, every seller pays a flat 3% payment processing fee regardless of level, which covers the cost of processing the payment itself. Together, total fees run roughly 10% to 12% of the sale price before shipping, depending on your level.
Seller level is StockX's way of rewarding sellers who consistently list, sell and ship reliably over time, and it is the only lever that changes your transaction fee. The payment processing fee stays flat at 3% no matter your level, so the entire benefit of leveling up shows up in the transaction fee line, a full two-point swing between a brand-new Level 1 seller and an established Level 5 seller.
Since StockX's March 2026 fee update, sellers using standard shipping, meaning you ship each item individually after it sells, pay a $5 shipping fee per sale, up from $4 under the prior fee schedule. Sellers enrolled in StockX Flex, who ship inventory to a StockX facility ahead of time so it can be authenticated and shipped out immediately once it sells, skip this per-sale shipping fee entirely.
