Every bio below is checked against TikTok's 80-character limit and trimmed automatically if it runs long. Pick one, tweak it to sound like you, and copy it in.

TikTok's standard bio field holds 80 characters, counting letters, spaces, punctuation and emoji. That is far tighter than Instagram's 150 or X's 160, so every word has to earn its place. TikTok has also been testing longer bio fields, up to 150 or 180 characters, for some accounts, but 80 characters remains the safe, conservative limit that will display cleanly for every viewer.
Because the field is so short, the strongest TikTok bios usually pick one clear angle, the niche or content type someone should expect, rather than trying to list credentials the way a LinkedIn summary might.
A TikTok bio has less room than almost any other platform, so it works best when it answers one question fast: what will someone see if they hit follow? Naming a specific content niche, cooking, comedy, fitness, small business, gives a visitor a concrete reason to stay, while a vague label like "creator" alone rarely does.
Emoji can help a short bio scan faster, breaking up plain text and hinting at tone before someone reads a single word, but each one still counts against the 80-character limit, so it is worth generating a version with and without emoji and comparing which one reads cleaner.
