How much does Depop take from a sale in 2026?
US and UK sellers pay no selling commission, only a payment processing fee of 3.3% plus $0.45 on the item price, shipping and applicable tax. Sellers outside the US and UK who transact in their local currency instead pay a flat 10% selling fee with no separate processing charge.
What is Depop's payment processing fee actually based on?
It is calculated on the full amount the buyer pays: the item price, any shipping you charge them, and applicable sales tax, not just the item price alone. Entering your shipping charge above changes the fee, since it is included in the base amount.
Do I still pay a fee if I offer free shipping?
Yes, but the base amount for the fee is smaller, since it only includes what the buyer actually pays. If you build your shipping cost into the item price instead of charging it separately, the fee ends up roughly the same either way because it is calculated on the buyer's total payment regardless of how you split it between item price and shipping.
What is Depop's Boosted Listings fee?
Boosted Listings is an optional promotion that increases a listing's visibility for a set period. Depop charges an extra fee, currently 12% for US and UK sellers, only on sales that come from a boosted listing. If you do not use Boosted Listings, this fee never applies to you.
